Compared to  regular stretcher, modifications have been introduced to eliminate certain common problems.

The wooden frame has been reinforced by an aluminium profile - The keys have been replaced by simple spring mechanisms - The profiles are assembled using aluminium brackets which ebnable simple mounting - The aluminium profile allows as many sleepers to be added as required.
